If your goal is to become a Bitcoin influencer, do yourself a favor: don’t sell your soul to the David Bailey narrative machine.

Too much of today’s influencer class has become extractive. Some who once served as educators have lost their way, corroded by fiat incentives and the pursuit of attention, access, and monetization.

Too many of these clowns have built businesses around monetizing their audience while presenting themselves as objective teachers and trusted guides. Those incentives are fundamentally at odds.

Education creates informed participants.

Extraction creates customers.

There are still a few pure educators in this space. Find them. Support them. Protect them.

The integrity of the network depends on it.

We need to preserve the signal, self-regulate, and ensure future Bitcoiners are not lost to an ecosystem increasingly optimized for engagement, influence, and revenue rather than truth, understanding, and first-principles thinking.

Bitcoin doesn’t need more influencers.
