On April 26 and April 30, BitMart Exchange, a premier global digital asset trading platform, organized two separate lectures at Columbia University and The State University of New York at Stony Brook (SBU).
“In 2017, the concept of Security Token Offering (STO) was raised and the market was around USD 22 million in total. In 2018, after just one year, STO figures grew exponentially to USD 442 million,” said Daisy Li, Corporate Counsel of BitMart. She attended a lecture at Columbia University’s The Fu Foundation School of Engineering, regarding the latest trends and regulatory updates in the crypto market especially STO processes and corresponding AML/KYC controls.
In addition to Daisy’s effort in helping students better understand the industry from a compliance perspective, on Tuesday, Javen Lou, CMO of BitMart, also delivered a speech at Stony Brook University. A wide range of topics was involved in his speech including blockchain technology, the infrastructure of open finance, global trends, stablecoin, and other possible changes in the future.

This is not BitMart’s first campus event.
