    The only utility we got from these privacy protocols is giving access to exploiters to bridge illicit funds without knowing the destination of those funds (in almost most cases) 😭😂 So in short, we built privacy tek for exploiters not for real users. Just take a look at the Aztec protocol exploit, Zcash vulnerability, Zama contract seizing by circle because of illicit actor funds and now this Axelar case

    AI-powered security tools are becoming cheaper and faster, and researchers say this could reshape what the industry considers reasonable due diligence before deploying code. this is the real story behind the Zcash bug i wrote about last week. an AI found a four-year-old vulnerability that human cryptographers missed. thats not a one-off thats the new floor for what we audited it actually means going forward. protocols that skip AI-assisted review are about to look the way protocols that skip any audit look today - reckless, not just unlucky. the bar just moved. most teams haven’t noticed yet.
