    Visa’s stablecoin expansion puts neobanks in a tougher spot. For years, neobanks like @Revolut, @Chime, and @nubank won users over by making money feel faster, cheaper, and easier to move than it did with a traditional bank. Now Visa is bringing a lot of that same utility closer to the default payment layer. Here are some of Visa's current numbers: → $7B annualized stablecoin settlement run rate → 130+ stablecoin-linked card programs across 50+ countries → A total of 9 supported chains Visa also lets some banks settle in USDC, instead of moving money the old way through traditional bank channels. So I don’t see this as neobanks becoming irrelevant. Quite the opposite. Neobanks proved there was demand for better money movement. Stablecoins are now pushing that idea into the financial system itself.
