    BREAKING: Anza CEO @bw_solana says Solana’s key tokenomics proposals, SIMD-550 and SIMD-553, will get done this year. Together, they would double $SOL disinflation to 30%, cut emissions by about $1.36B over six years at current prices, and raise estimated daily burns from around 650 $SOL ($47K) to up to 9K $SOL ($646K).

    Wu said that Anza CEO Brennan Watt stated that Solana-related SIMD proposals are expected to be advanced within this year. Among them, SIMD-123 has passed and is close to the code‑completion stage; the discussion draft of SIMD-547 and SIMD-553 are essentially in the same direction, and both SIMD-553 and SIMD-550 have received Anza's concept acknowledgment (concept ACK). If SIMD-550 and SIMD-553 are merged and implemented, the annual SOL inflation reduction rate will rise from 15% to 30%, which under current price assumptions could cut token emissions by about $1.36 billion over six years, while increasing daily SOL burn from roughly 650 tokens (≈ $47 k) to a maximum of about 9,000 tokens (≈ $646 k). https://t.co/ZEDLzngE55
