Polkadot (DOT)

To @paritytech I am tired of the endless cycle of demos, prototypes, proof-of-concepts and promises. At Web3 Summit there was PoP, Playground, AI agents, ticketing, payments and more. The technology looks incredible. Nobody is questioning the engineering talent. What I am questioning is why we are still having the same conversation years later. Don't tell me it is coming to a testnet. Don't tell me it is coming soon. Don't tell me there will be another OpenGov proposal. Don't tell me there will be another curator group, working group or treasury-funded initiative that will somehow get this over the finish line. The problem is not governance. The problem is not funding. The problem is not ideas. The problem is execution. Parity built this technology. Parity understands this technology better than anyone. If these products are important for the future of Polkadot then Parity needs to own the responsibility of getting them into the hands of users. Because the market has already spoken. While we celebrate what Polkadot could become, the market continues to value what Polkadot is today. I don't want another vision. I don't want another PoC. I don't want another promise. I want timelines. I want accountability. I want products on mainnet. I want users. I want adoption. Enough demos. Ship.

This is a prime example of what many fail to accept as reality. Much of the crypto market (Altcoins) is dying, and rightfully so. This is extremely healthy, as the market is finally determining what truly has value and what doesn't. Realistically, there should be no more than 30 cryptocurrencies outside of Bitcoin, and the best-case scenario is that most of these chains become ghost chains, while capital consolidates into projects that provide real value to the world. This process should be celebrated and supported and pushed by crypto influencers , as it will make the entire sector significantly more attractive to larger investors and help it develop a true identity, which it still struggles to find. We can only hope the crypto carnival finally ends and that the bubble has burst for good this time (probably not). Hopefully, the emergence of AI and new technologies that genuinely change lives will help speed up this process, as their existence makes much of Altcoins even more worthless than they already were. Everyone who has a voice should be pushing for this to occur if you truly want crypto to flourish in the future.
